Tribute to Catholic Deacons/Prison Volunteers and their Wives
We have dedicated a special space in our organization as a tribute to honor Catholic Deacons and their wives who volunteer in prisons. They are an important pillar of hope during the difficult time encountered while being incarcerated. They are kind, dedicated, and giving people willing to give their time to offer consolation to others. Besides their dedication to their community, Deacons follow prison rules, encouraging inmates to follow suit. They demonstrate exemplary behavior.
The dedicated space will have the names of some remarkable Deacons and their wives in each square on the wall. We invite former and current prisoners who have had a positive experience with a Deacon and their wife/prison volunteer to share their information with us at dr.yraidafaneite@yginstitute.org so that we can honor them on this wall. As a reminder, every Wednesday at 1:30 PM EST we pray the rosary in this corner. Any who are interested in participating are welcome to join us.
