The 2019 Summer Youth Internship Program finished last August 02, 2019. Our four interns’ performance was above and beyond our expectations, with their knowledge, traits, and talents. We are thankful to them, to their parents, to the teachers at Miami Dade County Public Schools, and to all organizations and individuals that work in this program.
As seen above is a video created by one of our interns, Angelina Rubalcava, of their experience with Y. G. Institute, and we want to share it with all of you; we also invite you to participate in this program next summer.
During the internship, our interns learned many different skills to expand their goals in the future. They also went to different places to help them. For example, here are the interns with President Yraida Guanipa and Vice President Elina Lopez at the Service Partnership Meeting of Success University located in the Miami Beach Convention Center. The SYIP interns also went to the Youth Explosion Event hosted by Family Safety Net and Riverside Halfway House.
