History Made In Mid Terms Election 2018

The 2018 Midterm elections demonstrated that democracy always wins. Florida restored voting rights to more than 1.4 million with criminal’s convictions, vacating 150 years old and moving forward to a more inclusive state. Our organization is overwhelmed with joy and graceful for all of those that voted in favor of Amendment 4. This is a cause very close to our organization because this is the community that we serve. Our president Yraida Guanipa started collecting signatures for this amendment more than 7 years ago as part of her human rights advocate journey.
